This site is dedicated to respecting the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes which was drafted and eventually adopted by OMS and UNICEF. Our goal is to protect and endorse breastfeeding rights: - pushing for the continued and increased commitment of governments to ensure the distribution of correct information regarding breastfeeding. - the adoption of appropriate marketing techniques by manufacturers and distributors of breast milk substitutes and other infant food products, as well baby bottles and teats. The code was adopted in 1981 by the World Health Association as well as many major infant formula and food manufacturers.
